Dimah Mahmoud is a Warrior of Truth. She is a conscience community builder, dot-connector and cultural pollinator. She does everything she knows how to do to make this world a more balanced place and stops at nothing for Truth, Justice and Love. She has a Ph.D. in Sudanese Foreign Policy and International legitimacy, which allowed her a closer dissection of the mass-manipulation of the failed global system. Her work bridges endangered indigenous cultural heritage preservation and African diasporian alliances to counter politricks. This is embodied in her co-founding The Nubia Initiative & birthing AfricaWeek2020. Dimah (@thefacipulator) facilitates order by manipulating chaos and excels at co-creating grass-root sustainable solutions by animating her knowledge, skills and expertise to build alliances for mutual and sustainable growth. She thrives at the nexus of research, strategy and impact of any field, with a most deliberate focus on all matters linked to the liberation and advancement of people of African ancestry. Balancing Pennies and Purpose: The Inevitable Activist’s Guide to Survival

You know something is wrong. You’re being called to fix it. It’s not easy but somehow there is an unshakeable pull to your cause. Then one day you wake up to the chants in the middle of a protest or sit-in and all of a sudden what you’re meant to be doing, your purpose, is crystal clear.  It also doesn’t pay. It also doesn’t sustain. It also doesn’t magically disappear the bills and responsibilities. This means balance must be introduced between following our calling and showing up prepared—as in not alone. To know our allies, you must know our value. In this class we will learn the steps and kinds of questions to ask ourselves and those around us to know what we think we bring to the table, what we bring to the table and what the cause actually needs on the table. We will co-create a network in this class, and you will leave with the solution based approach to getting what you want, with what you have. ‘See you’ there!
